The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
