The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 Raging Fire. 11
