The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 How many generations have We destroyed before them, who were far greater in riches and more boastful! 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 Allah will increase those who were guided in guidance and things that abide. Good deeds are better in reward with your Lord, and, better in return. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children? 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
