He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 Add Thou through him to my strength, 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 that we may abundantly extol Your glory; 33 And may make mention of Thee oft. 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. 36 Already another time We favoured thee, 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 Place him in a chest and throw it into the river, and thereupon the river will cast him ashore, [and] one who is an enemy unto Me and an enemy unto him will adopt him. "And [thus early] I spread Mine Own love over thee - and [this] in order that thou might be formed under Mine eye. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 I have chosen you for Myself. 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 Then go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious. 43 and speak to him gently, perhaps he may take heed or fear (Allah)." 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 "So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance! 47 Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away. 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright. 50 (The Pharaoh) said: "And what about the former generations?" 51 Moses said, "My Lord alone has knowledge of that, recorded in a Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 Eat, [then, of this produce of the soil,] and pasture your cattle [thereon]. In all this, behold, there are messages indeed for those who are endowed with reason: 54
