Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
