Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 And tall date-palms with their spathes pile on pile 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 The 'Ad, Pharaoh, the brethren of Lut, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
