The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
