And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 at the hands of Pharaoh: he was a tyrant who exceeded all bounds. 31 and We chose them, out of a knowledge, above all beings, 32 And We gave them portents wherein was a clear trial. 33 Yet those who deny the truth say, 34 'There is nothing except the first death, we shall never be revived. 35 "Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!" 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba and those afore them? We destroyed them; verily they were culprits. 37 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport. 38 We created them not save with a purpose but most of them know not. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 A Day whereon a friend shall not avail a friend at all, nor shall they be helped. 41 except those to whom Allah shows mercy. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate. 42
