With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
