The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 On lined couches, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 Round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness), 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 The Companions of the Right 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 and spreading shade 30 and flowing water, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For those on the right hand; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
