Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 And ease for me my affair. 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 that they may understand my words. 28 and appoint for me, out of my kinsfolk, one who will help me to bear my burden: 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 "Increase my strength with him, 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 so that we exalt You 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 "For Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us." 35 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 saying: "Put him in the box and cast it into the river. The river will cast him on to the bank, and he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his." I lavished My Love on you, and to be formed in My Sight. 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 for I have chosen thee for Mine Own service. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 He said: Fear not, surely I am with you both: I do hear and see. 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement awaits those who called the lie to the truth and turned away from it.' " 48 (Pharaoh) said: Who then is the Lord of you twain, O Moses? 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright. 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
