Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
A. L. M. 1 These are verses of the Book of Wisdom 2 As guidance and mercy for the doers of good 3 Those who establish worship and pay the poor-due and have sure faith in the Hereafter. 4 Such are on guidance from their Lord, and such are the successful. 5 (In an attempt to show that God's revelations are only ancient legends) some people pay for meaningless tales to draw others attention away from the Quran without knowledge and treat as a matter of fun. They will suffer a humiliating torment. 6 And when Our signs are recited to such a man he turns away, waxing proud, as though he heard them not, and in his ears were heaviness; so give him good tidings of a painful chastisement. 7 Surely for those who believe and do the right are pleasure gardens. 8 to abide therein in accordance with God's true promise: for He alone is almighty, truly wise. 9 He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind. 10 This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error. 11
