And whosoever blindeth himself to the admonition of the Compassionate, We assign unto him a satan, and he becometh his companion. 36 and they bar them from the Way, though they themselves think that they are guided. 37 till, when he comes to Us, he says, 'Would there had been between me and thee the distance of the two Easts!' An evil comrade! 38 And it will profit you not today, because ye have done wrong, that ye are in the torment sharers. 39 What, will you make the deaf hear, or guide the blind and he who is in clear error? 40 And if We take thee away, We shall surely take vengeance on them. 41 Or (if) We show thee that wherewith We threaten them; for lo! We have complete command of them. 42 So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. You are truly on the right path. 43 it is certainly a reminder to you and to your people and you will soon be called to account. 44 And ask them – did any of the Noble Messengers We sent before you, appoint any other Gods except the Most Gracious, whom they used to worship? 45
