Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 relieved you of the burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 So, surely with every hardship there is ease; 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8
