Do you not see that We have sent devils upon the unbelievers who greatly incite them (to oppose the Truth)? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
