۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
