Al-Naml 6 of 7
Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
