And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
