Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 For a known term? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
