Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 noble recorders, 11 who know what you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
