The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
