The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the night when it covers the day, 1 And by the day as it appears in brightness; 2 And [by] He who created the male and female, 3 Your striving is most surely (directed to) various (ends). 4 As for him who gives and is godfearing 5 and believes in the finest, 6 We will ease him toward ease. 7 But for those who are niggardly, horde their wealth, 8 and calls the ultimate good a lie 9 We shall surely ease for him the Path of Hardship (the Fire). 10 and their wealth will be of no benefit to them when they face destruction. 11 Surely, it is for Us to provide guidance -- 12 And indeed the Hereafter and this world both belong to Us. 13 I have warned you then about a raging Fire: 14 None except the most wicked will enter it. 15 The one who denied and turned away. 16 And avoid it shall the most pious, 17 even he who gives his wealth. to purify himself 18 And have in his mind no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, 19 But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High. 20 and before long he will be well satisfied. 21
True are the words of God the Almighty.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
