Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 They replied, "Do not be afraid. We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
