The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
