But what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten on around you, 36 In crowds, right and left? 37 Does every one of them hope to enter [by this means] a garden of bliss? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 Wherefore let thou them alone plunging in vanity and sporting until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 the Day on which they will hastily come forth from their graves, as though they were hurrying on to the altars of their deities. 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
