Al-Rahman 3 of 3
There are two gardens for one who fears standing before his Lord. 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 Besides those two there shall be two other gardens. 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces. 70 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord (Allah), the Owner of Majesty and Honour. 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
