Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 and what you do not see 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then certainly should have cut off his life artery (Aorta), 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
