The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
