Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I swear by that which ye see. 38 as well as all that you cannot see! 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 And then certainly should have cut off his life artery (Aorta), 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
