Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides. 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 Indeed, for those who feared (Allah) is a secure place 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
