The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 by a burning fire 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
