The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
