Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
