And (remember) when your Lord said to Moosa, “Go to the unjust people.” 10 the people of Pharaoh: do they have no fear?" 11 He said: my Lord! verily I fear they shall belie me. 12 And my breast straitens, and my tongue is not eloquent, therefore send Thou to Haroun (to help me); 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 He said, “Not like this (any more); both of you go with Our signs, We are with you, All Hearing.” 15 Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: 'We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds 16 "'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'" 17 [But when Moses had delivered his message, Pharaoh] said: "Did we not bring thee up among us when thou wert a child? And didst thou not spend among us years of thy [later] life? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 Musa (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was an ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message). 20 I fled from you because I feared you. But my Lord has given me judgment and made me one of the Messengers. 21 Is this then the blessing with which you reproach me, that you have the Children of Israel for worshipers' 22 The Pharaoh asked: "And what is the Lord of all the worlds?" 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 'Do you not hear' said he (Pharaoh) to those around him. 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Verily, your Messenger who has been sent to you is a madman!" 27 Moses continued, "He is the Lord of the East and West and all that is between them, if only you would think". 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 'What, even if I brought you something clear' said he (Moses). 30 He (Pharaoh) replied: 'Show us your sign, if you are of the truthful' 31 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, thereupon it shone bright before the beholders. 33
