O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, those whose hearts are sick and those who encourage the spread of evil in the city, will not desist, We shall arouse you against them and they will only be allowed to be your neighbors for a short while. 60 Cursed: wherever they are found they shall be seized and murdered, a (horrible) murdering. 61 Such has been God's way with those who [sinned in like manner and] passed away aforetime - and never wilt thou find any change in God's way! 62 People will ask you about the Hour. Say, "God alone has knowledge of it. Who knows? The Hour may well be near at hand." 63 Allah has cursed the unbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. 64 Abiders therein they shall be forever, and they shall find neither a protecting friend nor a helper. 65 The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire, they will say: "Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!" 66 And they will say, “Our Lord! We followed our chiefs and our elders – so they misled us from the path!” 67 Our Lord! Oh, give them double torment and curse them with a mighty curse. 68
