And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 When the two (angels) who keep the account, one sitting on the right, one on the left, take it down, 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 And [then,] the twilight of death brings with it the [full] truth that [very thing, O man,] from which thou wouldst always look away! 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 His (angelic) companion will say, "(Lord), the record of his deeds is with me and is all ready". 23 'Cast, you twain, into Gehenna every froward unbeliever, 24 Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter, 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29
