The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
