And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
