Prostration

(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 and covered them with torment. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
