Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence - 1 A Messenger from Allah reciting Purified Pages 2 Containing correct and straight laws from Allah. 3 Nor did those to whom the Book had been given split up until after the Proof (of the Right Way) had come to them. 4 And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allah, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining from ascribing partners to Him), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat: and that is the right religion. 5 The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters shall be for ever in the Fire of Gehenna (Hell). They are the worst of all creatures. 6 But those that believe and work righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward [awaits them] with God: gardens of perpetual bliss, through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time; well-pleased is God with them, and well-pleased are they with Him: all this awaits him who of his Sustainer stands in awe!. 8
