Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
It is God who has created ears, eyes, and hearts for you. Little are the thanks that you give. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 They say exactly the same thing as the people who lived before. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken to Himself any son, there is no other god with Him. Were this otherwise each god would have taken that which he created, and some of them would have risen above others; Exalted is Allah beyond that they describe! 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
