Have you not seen those who dispute with respect to the communications of Allah: how are they turned away? 69 those who reject the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers shall soon know -- 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 into the boiling water and then are thrown into the Fire, 72 and then they will be asked, "Where are those whom you associated [with God]?" 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 "That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna and live there for ever. Evil is the lodging of the proud. 76 So be patient, (O Prophet). Surely Allah's promise is true. Whether We show them a part of the woeful consequences against which We warn them (while you are still in their midst) or We recall you (from this world) before that, eventually it is to Us that they shall be brought back. 77 Verily We sent messengers before thee, among them those of whom We have told thee, and some of whom We have not told thee; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah's leave, but when Allah's commandment cometh (the cause) is judged aright, and the followers of vanity will then be lost. 78
