(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 He plunged the villages 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
