Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the loosed ones successively 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 For a known extent. 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
