The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
