The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
