The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

Almighty Allah's Truth.
