Al-Mu' minoon 4 of 6
Messengers! Partake of the things that are clean, and act righteously. I know well all that you do. 51 And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." 52 The people divided themselves into many sects, each with their own book and each happy with whatever they had. 53 But leave them alone, lost in their ignorance, until a [future] time. 54 Deem they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We enlarge them. 55 have no other purpose except to help them in acquiring material benefits? No indeed. But they do not understand. 56 Those who tremble in fear of their Lord, 57 Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; 58 who associate none with their Lord, 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Aye! their hearts are in bewilderment in respect thereof, and they have works beside that, of which they are workers. 63 So that when We seize the affluent among them with affliction, they will begin to implore for help. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 Our revelations had certainly been recited to you, but you turned your backs to them 66 In scorn thereof. Nightly did ye rave together. 67 Have they not pondered the saying, or came there upon them that which came not upon their fathers, the ancients? 68 Or is it that they have not recognized their Apostle, so that they deny him? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Or dost thou ask of them (O Muhammad) any tribute? But the bounty of thy Lord is better, for He is Best of all who make provision. 72 (Muhammad), you certainly have called them to the right path, 73 and surely they that believe not in the world to come are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ Even if We were to grant them mercy and rescue them from hardship, they would still blindly persist in their rebellion. 75 Already have We grasped them with punishment, but they humble not themselves unto their Lord, nor do they pray, 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
