Have you not seen that all those who are in the heavens and the earth, and the birds on the wing, sing the praises of God. Each one knows its obligations and its duties, and God knows whatever they do. 41 To Allah belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. To Him is the arrival. 42 Do you not see how God drives the clouds, then joins them together, then piles them into layers and then you see the rain pour from their midst? He sends down from the skies mountainous masses [of clouds] charged with hail, and He makes it fall on whom He will, and turns it away from whom He pleases. The flash of His lightning may well-nigh take away the sight. 43 It is Allah Who alternates the Night and the Day: verily in these things is an instructive example for those who have vision! 44 God has created every living being from water: Some of them creep on their bellies; some walk on two feet and some of them walk on four legs. God creates whatever He wants. He has power over all things. 45 We have sent down revelations clearly showing the truth. God guides whom He wills to the straight path. 46 They say, "We have believed in God and the Messenger and we have obeyed them." Then a group of them turn away from their (belief). They are not believers. 47 And when they appeal unto Allah and His messenger to judge between them, lo! a faction of them are averse; 48 If the right is theirs, they would have hastened to him obediently. 49 What, is there sickness in their hearts, or are they in doubt, or do they fear that God may be unjust towards them and His Messenger? Nay, but those -- they are the evildoers. 50
