Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
